The Certification Authority Browser Forum (CA/Browser Forum) has updated industry standards to improve online security, by reducing the validity period of SSL/TLS certificates to 200 days.
What This Means for You:
- Starting March 12th, 2026, every SSL/TLS certificate issued for your domain through our platform will have a maximum validity of 200 days.
- SSL certificates will need to be reissued every 200 days
- Currently, reissuing your SSL certificate does not incur any extra charges.
Please Note:
- This change only affects the SSL certificates issued for your domain.
- The SSL/TLS order duration displayed in your control panel will remain unchanged and reflect your original purchase period.
For example:
- If you purchase a 1-year SSL/TLS certificate, your order will still remain valid for 365 days.
- The certificate files issued initially will be valid for up to 200 days.
Before the 200-day certificate expires, you will need to reissue the SSL certificate from your control panel.
Important Reminder
To avoid any interruption to your website’s HTTPS security:
- Always reissue your SSL certificate before the 200-day validity period expires.
- After reissuing, install the new certificate files on your server.
We are committed to ensuring your website’s security remains up to date and hassle-free. If you have any questions or need assistance with your SSL certificates, please contact our support team.
